Hardy perennial known as sweet fennel for it’s sweet aniseed flavour. Used in salads and in cooking. Low in calories.

It likes well drained fertile soil with plenty of organic matter to ensure tender growth. Extremely free of pests and diseases. Grown for the bulb. The fern-like leaves and fine stems may be added to salads for seasoning.
